Power Trip Wrestling to be filmed by BBC’s ‘See Hear’ in Luton, on Saturday 26th September 2009
Power Trip Wrestling are proud to announce that a film crew from the BBC’s television show “See Hear”, will be on hand on Saturday 26th September 2009, for our show “Built To Last”, at Challney School For Girls, in Luton, Bedfordshire.
PTW book as performers, the profoundly deaf Sean Midnight, and also Tracey Kilby, who is the daughter of UK Wrestling legend Alan Kilby (from the well known ‘World of Sport’ era on television), and the crew from “See Hear” will be in attendance to film the match and to interview both Sean and Tracey about their involvement in the professional wrestling world, and the barriers and problems they face in it; such as communication, and other related issues.
PTW Promoter Petey Staniforth was reached for a quote, and said “We are very happy and proud to welcome the BBC to our show, and just as pleased that we can do this both for Sean Midnight and Tracey Kilby, to show that professional wrestling can reach out and touch people’s day to day lives; and to further prove that we can help make a difference and give inspirational people such as Sean and Tracey their chance to do so alongside us. Here at Power Trip Wrestling, we are socially accessable to all, and happily accept what many others aren’t willing to; and that is the position we hold where people look up to what we do. We are proud of both Sean and Tracey, and hope that their involvement with us shows to others that with the right attitude and a determination to succeed in your dreams; you can do so”.
