CHIKARA: Fan Appreciation Night in July! Plus: Dragon Gate USA update!
In the month of July, we’re paying a final 2009 visit to Reading, and it’ll be Fan Appreciation Night when we play the Riverside Beneficial Assoc.! There’s no more intimate venue in which to see the stars of CHIKARA than our Reading stop, and we’re loading up with CHIKARA faves and a few surprises to make the evening a can’t-miss affair! We just signed the third match for this card yesterday.
Today, we are pleased to announce that Ophidian, current tag team champion, is the 6th official entrant into the CHIKARA showcase to be held on the Dragon Gate USA card on July 25th. He joins F.I.S.T. stablemates Icarus and Gran Akuma, as well as his championship partner Amasis to make up the rudo team.

As of right now, we were given word by Aaron Epic that he has hurt his shoulder pretty badly at ACW’s show last week against Simon Sez. Epic wishes he could be at ASW to square off against Dave Logan as Epic feels that he could have finally ended the streak of the man that has blasted through all his opponents thus far but the injury is keeping him out for awhile. No opponent has been signed yet for Dave Logan, but the office has been flooded with wrestlers looking to step into Epic’s spot and dethrone Dave Logan as an undefeated ASW star.
