They point out that our successful track record in launching the careers of women wrestlers is one that is not likely to be equalled by any other wrestling promotion anytime soon.
After all, in addition to the WWE’s Glamazon BETH PHOENIX, GAIL KIM, JILLIAN HALL and TRISH STRATUS having got their earliest starts in the pro-wrestling game courtesy of the AWF such talent as TNA’s TRACI BROOKS also cut their teeth in the hottest Indy on the planet!
On Sunday July 5, 2009 the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation is pleased to once again begin showcasing the hottest women wrestlers on the planet. And when we say hot it is for their stellar wrestling skills in addition to their great looks!
On Sunday July 5 @ AWF SHOCKWAVE the AWF is very proud to present a lady’s singles match that will start the ball rolling for the new generation of Apocalypse Wrestling’s lady superstars.
The critically acclaimed international star PORTIA PEREZ will make her Apocalypse Wrestling Federation debut against the highly touted and popular CHERRY BOMB.
Perez has a resume that has seen her grapple around the globe in countries that include England, the United States, France, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Switzerland and Spain. As a matter of fact Perez celebrated her 20th birthday in India on a wrestling tour with AWF personalities Danny Dynamic and Ron Hutchison in 2007.
Cherry Bomb comes to the AWF with experience under her belt from several Canadian battles in addtion to seeing action at Ballpark Brawl in Buffalo and Shimmer wrestling shows in Chicago where she has quickly become a favourite of the fans.
This will be a good test for both of these girls and both of these ladies will be going all out to impress Apocalypse Wrestling Federation fans at the Action Centre on July 5!
