More Matches Added to Apocalypse Wrestling Federation “Super Scrap”
Two more matches have been added to the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation show coming to Whitby on Sun. May 3rd.
In one a biblical hero debuts against a modern day bishop as The Mighty Samson makes his AWF wrestling debut against the returning French Canadian wrestler Bishop.
Fans in Quebec have seen this match up numerous times across La Belle Province but this is the very first time that the two will meet on Ontario soil and inside an Apocalypse Wrestling Federation ring.
Samson, 6’2″ 222 lb., has developed quite a following among Quebec
based mat fans and AWF officials have already been put on notice to
beware the hangman’s noose that has become Samson’s trademark on the French wrestling scene. AWF official David “Gillberg” Clark who will again don the zebra stripes at Super Scrap and officiate this match has been instructed to take no guff from any of the wrestlers and to enforce the rules as he sees fit on Sun. May 3 in Whitby.
On Sun. May 3 inside the AWF Action Centre (104 Consumers Drive) in
Whitby Samson may get more then he bargained for when he makes his AWF debut. Bishop is thrilled to be returning to the AWF and would like
nothing more then to spoil the debut of this AWF newcomer and then walk out of the Action Centre as the AWF champion at the conclusion of Super Scrap’s Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal.
Although that task will not be an easy one either as joining Bishop and Samson in a show ending battle royal will be all of the wrestlers on the card including the four who will be competing in tag team action earlier in the afternoon when British Blueblood Zaquary Springate III teams with German powerhouse Vladimir Urkov to try to best the team of the powerful Flesh Gordon and Ontario’s superhero Danny Dynamic.
On paper it’s hard to predict which team will be the victors in this
Australian Rules Tag Match as both teams are anchored by two very strong wrestlers, Flesh Gordon and Vladimir Urkov. Their respective partners, Dynamic and Springate are more on the lanky side and AWF fans can expect to see an interesting tag war indeed when Urkov and Springate (who many suspect comprised the AWF team of the “Un-Canadians” six years ago with Vlad under a mask) meet Flesh Gordon and Danny Dynamic as part of AWF Super Scrap in Whitby, Ontario on Sunday May 3 @ 2 PM.
