WWE & ECW Alumni The Iron Sheik & Snitsky & Balls Mahoney & The Patriot Headline NWS “May-Day” Double-Shot Weekend This Friday & Saturday 5/1-5/2 In Carteret & Brick, NJ
“May-Day… May-Day… We have people screaming and bodies flying everywhere… Emergency?… I never said it was an emergency… it’s May-Day weekend coming up, and National Wrestling Superstars is having a double shot weekend… How can you get tickets?… Thought you’d never ask…”

That’s right… NWS is kicking off the month of May with a two-show weekend in the tri-state area. And the only people in danger, are the ones who haven’t gotten their tickets yet, and are in danger of missing out on this heavyweight lineup of top pro wrestling action.

Friday night May 1st, NWS makes its annual return to Carteret, NJ’s Holy Family Parish Hall, 213 Pershing Avenue (just off Washington & Roosevelt Avenues, minutes from the NJ Turnpike), with a 7:45pm bell time. And speaking of heavyweights, one-half of the dual main event features two heavyweights of the TV w restling world… ECW original John “Balls” Mahoney taking on a recent WWE RAW superstar, the hulking monstrous Snitsky, in a “Loser Gets Put Through A Door” Match, where the winner must literally smash their opponet through a wooden door in order to win. We cannot describe this match – it must be seen to be believed.
The other half of the dual main event has even greater stipulations, as two entire wrestling careers will be on the line, when former WWE & WCW TV superstar “America’s Hero” The Patriot answers the challenge of former WWE prot?g? (until he was personally fired by Vince McMahon, so he says) “Too Cocky” Kevin Matthews. If The Patriot loses, he must remove his mask and reveal his true identity to the world, but if Matthews loses, he must leave NWS forever. This is a battle where truly everything is on the line. In a match that could very well be a preview of the upcoming Chris Candido Memorial J-Cup Tournament in mid-May, former NWS Jersey Shore and Tag-Team champion Nicky Oceans will battle, from Mexico’s Chikara Wrestling, Fright-Mare. These two high-fliers fought to a thrilling time-limit draw two weeks ago in nearby Edison, and the fans can expect yet another set of aerial thrills from these two. The NWS Tag-Team Titles will also be on the line, as the newly crowned team of Travis Blake & Corvis Fear take on “The Delaware Loudmouth” J.D. Smoothie and a mystery p artner yet to be named. Also on the bill will be the NWS debut of The Latin Outlawz, who will have their hands full against the unpredictable team of Shock and Skitzo, as well as an appearance by Cateret’s own Fireman Joe Davis.
Tickets for this mega event are mega-affordable at only $17 for adults and $14 for kids & seniors.

Then on Saturday night May 2nd, NWS returns to its always popular (and subsequently nearly always sold out) Ocean County venue, the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge, 2491 Hooper Avenue (just off Route 70, minutes from the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time. Along with encore appearances by Balls Mahoney & Snitsky in one-half of the main event, the other half of the main event is also a heavyweight showdown of monster proportions, as former WWE & WCW TV superstar “America’s Hero” The Patriot will join forces with his former rival, now ally, one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer. These two big men will face their two biggest enemies in wrestling, Baghdad Bullies member Hasheem “Chemical” Ali and Ryan Blackheart. And if that wasn’t enough right there, a special enforcer referee has been appointed to this match, none other than former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Iron Sheik! With nearly half a ton of beef in the ring, all gunning for each other, and an unpredict able veteran like The Iron Sheik on the outside, the proverbial anything can happen. And while we’re still on the subject of heavyweights, a new tag-team will be making their Ocean County debut this Saturday night, the massive Nigerian Nightmares, along with their manager Black Sheeta, who have been tearing up opponents all throughout the Northeast, and look to do the same in Brick. Newly-crowned NWS Tag-Team Champions Corvis Fear and Travis Blake will also see action in Brick, along with NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion Rhett “The Threat” Titus, newcomer Manuel Manny Moore, Jack Spade, Nate Mustang, “The Delaware Loudmouth” J.D. Smoothie, and Kamakaze. The Brick Elks Lodge has a history of selling out nearly every time, so don’t get left out. Tickets for this mega event are only $20 for adults and $18 for kids & seniors.

Tickets for both events are available
by calling the NWS box office (732) 888-1704
All major credit cards are accepted, and
group rates are available for groups of ten or more

Remaining seats, if any
and with these two popular venues, that’s a mighty big “if”
will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
