AudioWrestling.com “Master Tapes”

Brian Kelley of AudioWrestling.com sent this in:

On today’s “AudioWrestling.com Master Tapes” (premiering 3/27 at 6PM ET and archived later in the weekend), we will go back to a classic 2001 interview featuring Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman together critiquing their development as WWE (WWF at the time) announcers. In this interview, Cole is very open on being a very inexperienced and green wrestling announcer when he was forced to step in on Raw during one of the lengthy medical leaves of Jim Ross.

Then later in the show we will fast forward a few years to a Gail Kim interview shortly after she was released from WWE following her first stint with the company. Kim discusses her views on leaving WWE, her signing with TNA, and her decision to pose nude. Now that Kim is back with WWE, this interview can take on a whole new meaning when you hear some of Kim’s thought’s on WWE’s overall direction at the time with women’s wrestling.

“AW Master Tapes” is a weekly show on AudioWrestling.com featuring a crop of classic (an in many cases LOST) interviews dating back as far as 1996. A new show premieres every Friday at 6PM ET and is archived later in the weekend on AudioWrestling.com. Past editions of “Master Tapes” featuring Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Sean Waltman, Christian Cage, Andrew Martin, and Missy Hyatt are now archived.
