World Wrestling Entertainment‘s SmackDown crew will be in Mohegan Sun, CT, at the Mohegan Sun Arena, tonight. The March 6 and March 13 episodes will be taped.
WWE results from the RAW broadcast at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA, on March 2: Kane over Mike Knox and Rey Mysterio, Jr., in a three-way qualifier for the Money-in-the-Bank match at WrestleMania; Mickie James & Kelly Kelly over Beth Phoenix & Jillian, with Santino Marella & Rosa Mendes; Shawn Michaels over Vladimir Kozlov; and John Cena over WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge by disqualification. The lineup for tonight’s ECW broadcast on Sci-Fi, from WWE, is as follows: Kane versus the Boogeyman; Santino Marella versus Mark Henry in a qualifier for WrestleMania’s Money-in-the-Bank match; Alicia Fox versus Natalya; and Jack Swagger, John Morrison & the Miz versus Tommy Dreamer, Finlay & Christian. The final overall rating for Friday’s edition of WWE’s SmackDown was 2.3.
WWE has announced the following events: May 9, SmackDown/ECW at the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown, OH; May 10, RAW at the WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, WV; May 23, SmackDown/ECW at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM; and July 31, at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, NH. Tickets for Youngstown and Rio Rancho go on sale March 14, while tickets for Wheeling and Hampton Beach are already available. There was no indication which crew would be working Hampton Beach, so it may be a tri-branded event.
Ring of Honor has made the following additions to upcoming events: a grudge match featuring Bryan Danielson versus Bison Smith on March 13 in Collinsville, IL; Brent Albright & Roderick Strong versus the American Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards), with Larry Sweeney, on March 14 in Indianapolis, IN; Nigel McGuinness & Davey Richards versus KENTA & El Generico on March 20 in Elizabeth, PA; and Ric Flair makes his second ROH appearance on June 12 in Manassas, VA, signing autographs for $30, with an additional $20 for a second item, just as he will be at the Collinsville event.

The women’s championship match, Claudia “the Claw” Reiff vs. Awesome Kong ended in a double DQ. Reiff is still the champion. Jumbo Elvis & Miss Charlotte defeated Diamond Derek & Miss Rachael. Jason “the Giant” defeated Hack Meyers. The next event will be on March 29 at the Funking Conservatory in Ocala, FL.
AWA Georgia was in Danielsville, GA, on February 28. Results: Ballenger defeated Bam Bam Bradshaw to retain the Reaction championship. Instant Replay defeated Old School & DC in a triangle tag match. After the match, DC broke up when Lance Christopher attacked Dale Dwindle. Talon Williams defeated Enigma. Hate City Saints & Torque defeated Johnny Viper, Alex Michaels & Damarco Knyte. Nick Halen defeated Kid Cassanova. Chris Hamrick, Jason Blackman & J.D. Jackson defeated James BLVD, Darkside & Jake Sanders.
All-Star Wrestling was in Spring Hill, FL, on February 28. Results: Paradox defeated Matt Ripley. MuskOx Mercury & Moonshine McCoy defeated Damien Angel & Eddie Brock. Dave Logan defeated Ray Beez. James Morrison vs. Vinndetta ended in a no contest after the Virus interfered. Alex Decay defeated Sideshow. Joshua Masters defeated Jude Mackenzie. Simon Sez defeated Super Grover. Da Biff defeated Luis Matos. North East All-Stars defeated Shayne Swyft & Nooie Lee. The next event will be on March 28 at Towne Square in Spring Hill, FL.
All-Star Wrestling Alliance results from ?Bad Intentions? at the National Guard Armory in Lexington, NC, on February 28, for the 2nd annual “Pistol Pez Whatley Memorial Tag Team Tournament?: York Foundation (Paco Loco/Adam Awesome) defeated Lethal Assassin & Jason Michaels. Bobo Brazil, Jr., & Ouga Booga defeated Greg Allen & Chris Watts. York Foundation defeated Bobo Brazil, Jr., & Ouga Booga to win the tournament. In a tournament to crown the first ASWA Champion, Matt Houston defeated Honky Tonk Matt, George South defeated Ryan Markae, Matt Houston defeated Jimmy Jack Funk, Jr., and Matt Houston defeated George South to win the title. In a non-tournament match, Terrific Tony defeated Joshua Valen.
