ROH Final Battle Results – 12/14/18 (ROH Title, Triple Threat Ladder War, The Elite says goodbye)

The show opened with a video package focusing on the card.

Kenny King def. Eli Isom

King used Darkness Falls on Isom to get the pinfall.

Jeff Cobb def. Adam Page to retain the ROH TV Championship

Cobb hit two of the Tour of the Islands on Page to retain.

Kelly Klein def. Sumie Sakai, Madison Rayne and Karen Q to become the new Women of Honor Champion

Karen Q and Madison Rayne were eliminated. Klein pinned Sakai after a DVDR.

Zack Sabre Jr. def. Jonathan Gresham

Gresham attempted a back bridge pin, but Sabre countered into one of his own.

Matt Taven def. Dalton Castle

Taven hit a running knee and One Percenter combo to get the win. Lots of outside distractions from TK O’Ryan and The Boys during the match.

Marty Scurll def. Christohper Daniels

Scurll forced Daniels to tap to the Chicken Wing. During the post-match, Bully Ray walks out and gives Daniels a low blow.

Flip Gordon def. Bully Ray in an I Quit Match

At one point Ray threatened to powerbomb Flip’s girlfriend to get him to say I Quit. Cary Silkin interfered, hitting Ray with a kendo stick and Flip’s girlfriend gave Ray a low blow. Silas Young ran out to attack Flip. Colt Cabana runs out and hits Young with a chair. The lights went out and when they returned, The Sandman was standing in the ring and spit beer in Ray’s face followed by cane shots. Flip hit Ray with the cane until he said I Quit.

Jay Lethal def. Cody Rhodes to retain the ROH Championship

Brandi accidentally took out Cody with a spear. Lethal stopped the referee from ending the match. Cody later pulled Brandi in his way to avoid a Lethal Injection. They did a throwback to the “I’m sorry” HBK superkick to Ric Flair, but Lethal instead flipped off Cody. Lethal got the Figure Four locked on forcing Cody to tap.

The Briscoes def. The Young Bucks and SoCal Uncensored in a Triple Threat Ladder Match to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions

Series of spots that saw both teams jump off ladders onto other ladders and tables. The finish saw The Briscoes knock Kazarian off a ladder after Mark tossed a chair at him. The Briscoes are now 10-time ROH Tag Team Champions.

After the show, The Elite gave a goodbye speech and hinting they would be back in New York City soon. As reported earlier, contracts for Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks and Adam Page are all up. ROH COO Joe Koff didn’t anticipate any of the talent re-signing.
