Jon Moxley will not be attending Starrcast III, Conrad Thompson issues response

Jon Moxley Starrcast

AEW star Jon Moxley will not be appearing at Starrcast due to the MRSA infection in his elbow.

Conrad Thompson issued a statement earlier today that Jon Moxley would not be able to travel based on the recommendation of his doctor. Moxley sent Thompson the recommendation and said, “I’m sorry, this sucks.”

Moxley was set to do a meet and greet session with fans, as well as take part in a panel. Refunds are being processed starting tomorrow. Those who purchased tickets should expect to be notified via email.

Moxley’s stage show will be replaced by a stage show called “Turner Memories” with Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone reflecting on their time with Turner Sports.

Moxley was already forced to pull out of his scheduled match with Kenny Omega at this Saturday’s AEW All Out event due to the infection in his elbow. PAC is replacing Moxley in the match. Moxley stated that he will be good to go for AEW’s television debut on TNT on October 2.

Starrcast events will stream live on FITE TV starting tonight at 6:30 ET/5:30 CT.
