Colt Cabana finishes up with Ring of Honor

According to John Pollack at POST Wrestling, Colt Cabana has finished up with Ring of Honor following Friday night’s Final Battle Pay-Per View. 

Also according to the same report, it was known back in September that Cabana would be leaving and that his final appearance with the company would be at the Final Battle PPV in Baltimore. 

During the free pre-show, Cabana was in a verbal exchange with Alex Shelley settign up a first-time match between the two.  Shelly won the match by pinfall with a roll up cradle.  

Cabana has made multiple appearances with Ring of Honor dating back to 2002 and winning the ROH World Tag Team Championships on two occasions in 2004. 

He left ROH in 2007 and signed with WWE and worked a number of preliminary matches until he was released from his contract in February 2009. He made his return to ROH at Supercard of Honor X on April 1, 2016.

Cabana is scheduled to defend the NWA National Championship at tonight’s Into the Fire PPV against Ricky Starks and Aron Stevens.  It is also being said he will remain in Atlanta for the Powerrr YouTube tapings on Sunday and Monday.
