Southern Pro Wrestling announced on Instagram that they will hold back-to-back events on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8, with fans in attendance in New Zealand.
A Southern Rumble is scheduled be held on the Friday show with the winner getting an opportunity to become SPW New Zealand Champion the very next night.
According to a new report from The New York Times, New Zealand is now at a level 1 with no new restrictions.
New Zealand has seen no active coronavirus cases and no infections, thus officials declared that the strict clampdown on public life would end.
The country’s move to Level 1 was originally planned for June 22, but was brought forward no new cases were reported. The restrictions were lifted at midnight on Monday.
