HTM retracts comments on Dixie Carter’s shoot DVD

The Honky Tonk Man has retracted a story regarding the new You Shoot DVD featuring TNA President Dixie Carter:

My name is Michael Klyzub with MJM Entertainment and I work with Sean Oliver and Kayfabe Commentaries. Once word got out that Honky Tonk Man had spoken out against the legitimacy of the “YouShoot Live With Dixie Carter”, Sean had contacted HTM. For those in the know, HTM has appeared on two separate specials for Kayfabe Commentaries, one of which was the first YouShoot. Upon speaking with HTM he sent us the following retraction and I would kindly ask you to include this in your report:

“The Honky Tonk Man would like to apologise for any upset caused to Sean Oliver and Kayfabe Commentaries for his post about the upcoming release with Dixie Carter.

HTM directed his original post based on what a TNA source had informed him. That source now admits they may have misled HTM with partial information. Eg, TNA Management wanted to screen questions but were unable to.

HTM is very appreciative of his friendship with Sean Oliver and Kayfabe Commentaries and very and proud of the DVD work he has produced with them.

HTM would like to wish Kayfabe and Sean all the best for their future work and looks forward to working with them again in the future.

HTM”

Thank you for your help in this matter and hope you take the time to view the Kayfabe Commentaries work on this latest release.

Original Statement:

The recent YouShoot DVD of TNA President Dixie Carter wasn’t a shoot at all meaning paying fans have been hoodwinked.

One of the innovator’s of shoot interviews, The Honky Tonk Man, was informed by a TNA source and has announced it was all pre-screened.

“Fans FYI, the Youshoot DVD with Dixie Carter had all the questions pre-screened by her and a staff member. She cherry picked the questions only she wanted to answer. There is not one ounce of SHOOTING in this. I know, because I was informed. HTM set the standards for a SHOOT DVD. I love the guys at YOUSHOOT, but they got hoodwinked on this one.

HTM”

Multiple fans who own the DVD and read HTM’s post on Facebook and his official website have confirmed “something doesn’t look right” and “you can tell it’s faked”.
