In an interview with Slam Wrestling, former WWE star Rene Dupree comments on wrestling in Japan, Vince McMahon and more.
“I was miserable the last three years I was in WWE, I was miserable, I hated it, because it’s all politics. You have to kiss ass. In Japan, all you’ve got to do, is you’ve got to work hard, you’ve got to look good, and that’s it. And that’s what wrestling is all about. It’s about the performance. It’s not about how big you are, or how good of a promo you can cut. It’s about if you can deliver in the ring. And that’s pure wrestling.”
