Early Tuesday morning former CMLL star, Dr. Xtreme, was murdered outside of a party in the early morning hours. A fight between several men broke out at the party and one of the men pulled out a gun and shot wildly, missing his target, and striking Dr. Xtreme in the head and killing him. He wasn’t even involved in the altercation. No arrests have been made. Dr. Xtreme was previously known as Dr. X in CMLL for many years before finally leaving the promotion several months ago due to being frustrated with the direction of the company. Dr. Xtreme, real name Clemente Marcelina Valencia Najera, was 43 years old and he is a 16 year veteran in Lucha Libre. Dr. Xtreme is a former Mexican National Welterweight Champion and Mexican National Trios Champion. Dr. Xtreme was trained by Rafael Salamanca, La Cobra, and the legendary Satanico & original Scorpio.
