Yuji Nagata makes history winning three tournaments

Wrestleview VIP host Greg McNeish passed this along.

Pro Wrestling NOAH held the finals of its annual Global League tournament today (Nov 10). Yuji Nagata, from New Japan Pro Wrestling, emerged victorious, defeating former GHC Heavyweight and ROH World Champion, Takeshi Morishima, in the finals. With this victory, Nagata becomes the first man in history to have won all three major singles tournaments in Japan, having won All Japan’s Champion Carnival in 2011, and New Japan’s G1 Climax back in 2001.

Yuji Nagata will challenge GHC Heavyweight Champion KENTA on December 7, at the Ariake Coliseum, in Tokyo, Japan.
