KENTA announces his departure from Pro Wrestling NOAH

At a press conference today in Tokyo, Japan, Japanese star KENTA announced that he would be departing Pro Wrestling NOAH. KENTA has been with NOAH since the company’s inception in 2000. KENTA recently traveled to the US for a tryout with the WWE back in January, but had downplayed the tryout upon return to Japan, citing that he wanted to take part in WWE’s training and had an opening in his NOAH schedule to be able to do so. KENTA said in the press conference today that “there is only one life, and it is now or never to try something new in a different environment.” KENTA’s last show for NOAH will be at Korauken Hall in Tokyo on May 17.
