Austin missing next Raw, Foley's role, NWA TNA hirings + Top wrestling books

- Steve Austin will be missing Raw next Monday so he can attend the Upfronts for Spike TV. The plan is for Mick Foley to appear on the show, and he will fill the role being played by Austin as Eric Bischoff's antagonist.

In addition to this, Austin was at the Spike TV launch party at the Playboy Mansion on Tuesday. Other stars in attendance included, Pam Anderson, Kelsey Grammar, Carmen Electra, Fred Durst, Ice-T & Busta Rhymes. Austin went to the party with John "Big" Gaburick.

- Recently in NWA TNA ownership has been going on a spending spree. As you may have read, there have been a few front office hirings in the last month and also they have bought a new set which debuts next week. In addition to this, they also agreed to terms with Sting, who doesn't come cheap. The main event next week is Sting & Jeff Jarrett vs. A.J. Styles & a mystery partner.
