Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio (Cruiserweight Championship)
I must admit for the first 15 minutes of the show I was finishing helping a friend pack their things so I missed the opening and first match.

Winner & STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Rey Mysterio

We come back and Piper and O Haire are in the ring with Mexican and Japanese cultural food items. Piper invites Tajiri and Latino Heat down. Piper is putting over O Haire as the next world champ of whatever he chooses (ladies and gentleman may I introduce to you the new world champion of S & M Sean O Haire). Piper is trying to have one of the tag team champs let O Haire wear the belt, Latino Heat isnt having any of it. But Tajiri allows O Haire to have it when Piper presents him with some sushi. Latino Heat flips out, but Tajiri has it under control when he sprays both (Piper and O Haire) with “Cuervo” (most likely apple juice). Latino Heat and Tajiri lay out both Piper and O Haire and leave with their belts.

Backstage, Sable is at Steph’s desk when she walks in. Sable is looking for Gowen’s contract, but couldnt find it. She does think its interesting that Steph is bringing back the US Title (wow, finally some respect to wrestlers like Stan Hansen and the Great Muta). Steph thanks her for ruining the surprise (of the title).

Billy Gunn vs. A-Train
Torrie Wilson makes her way to the ring wearing a nice baby blue “Elvis like” jumpsuit, she is the special guest ring announcer. Gunn is ripped coming back from 8 months off do to injury. (Some assclown has a “Hire Sabu” sign perfectly framed throughout most of the match, opposite camera so everyone can see at home [thats what the WWE needs some jackass that “no shows” just about every possible booking he has and does not listen to criticism].) He is back with his Mr. Ass gimmick and it’s a rather quick match with Gunn getting the victory via the Fameasser. After the match Torrie (Booty Babe alert) slaps Gunn on the ass and Gunn returns the favor, they leave together.

Winner: Billy Gunn

Earlier tonight, Lesnar is arriving at the arena.

Undertaker vs. Johnny Stamboli (with the FBI)
Its official Undertaker has now taken on every member of the FBI. This is 3 weeks in a row now. Come on just have a 3 on 1 match at Vengence and get it over with. Rather dull match, the lone “highlight” was when The Bull got the Undertaker in a vertical suplex. The Undertaker gets the victory, but Nunzio with a chair gets the win after the bell.

Winner: Undertaker

Hulk America is backstage “pumping up” Zach Gowen prior to the arm wrestling contest.

Vince McMahon vs. Zach Gowen (Arm Wrestling Match)
Steph comes to the ring to introduce the competitors, but Sable interrupts her. Luckily Steph puts her in her place. Steph introduces both competitors. Hulk America says this is all about him and Vince, and challenges Vince to an arm wrestling contest. After some talking Vince agrees and they lock hands, Sable interferes. They switch arms and start over, Sable reveals a breast to Hulk America and Vince gets the win. Now its time for the real contest. Zach gave Vince all he could until he (Vince) kicked Zach's leg out and won the contest.

Winner: Vince McMahon

– Commercial –

Hulk America is backstage trying to console Zach. Big Show walks in and looks at them and says “forget it”, and walks off.

Basham Brothers (w/ Shaniqua) vs. Chris Benoit & Rhyno
Shaniqua is actually TE 2's Linda Miles with a body Billy Gunn would be impressed with, damn that girl works out (kind of funny that both winners of the second TE are valets). Rather dull match with Benoit missing a headbutt, but landing the crossface on Doug Basham. The Basham Brothers get the victory when Rhyno inadvertently punches Benoit in the face and Danny Basham is able to land a inverted Fameasser (Benoit was looking up at the rafters, rather than hunched over).

Winner: Basham Brothers (w/ Shaniqua)

– Commercial --

Backstage, Rhyno and Benoit are arguing and Chris wants nothing to do with Rhyno.

John Cena vs. Funaki
Okay Cena and Funaki’s raps lasted longer than this squash. Funaki’s rap was great, it was the old you aint got no alibi because your ugly cheerleading routine and he mimicked the robot dance. Cena gets the victory via the FU.

Winner: John Cena

Backstage, Angle is on his way to the ring.

– Commercial –

Kurt Angle’s “thanks” to Lesnar is shown.

Kurt Angle comes out and thanks everyone for tonight and last week. He then calls out Team Angle and for the next few moments Haas and Benjamin do their best a$$hole impressions, running down how Angle failed and wasn't their for them (Team Angel called in sick last week). Kurt then fires both Haas and Benjamin doing his best Billy Martin or Lou Pinella impressions. Kurt leads the crowd in a Hey Hey Good Bye chant with some kiss my ass thrown in their for good measure.

Tale of the Tape for the Main Event.

– Commercial –

During the break, Angle was on his way to the back and had words with Haas and Benjamin. This resulted in Angle being left on the floor.

Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE Championship)
Big Show is introduced and we cut to commercial. Brock is next. Okay this match was decent, Lesnar spent most of the match actually wrestling while Show went about his power move catalog. I am not knocking the script of the match but Show would do a clothesline here or there and Lesnar would respond with a German Suplex. At one point BS had Lesnar in a one-legged Boston Crab, that was it for his “wrestling arsenal.” BS is going for a third chokeslam when Lesnar who has been selling his rib injury throughout most of the match blocks the attempt from the second rope and takes Show up to the third and SUPERPLEXES the Big Show from the third rope. OH MY GOD. The ring breaks and Ciota, Lesnar, and Show are down. Ciota calls for the medics and the show ends with 10+ EMTs in the ring and Ciota with the belt in his hand.

Winner: No Contest

End of Show.
