A photo recap of Angle’s WWE Title Victory at Vengeance is shown.

SD Intro.

Kurt Angle comes to the ring promotes how he is the new WWE Champion after only four months since recovering from neck surgery. Brock Lesnar interrupts and challenges Angle to a re-match. Angle eventually accepts but Vince McMahon comes out and claims Angle had instructed McMahon not to give Lesnar a re-match and calls him (Angle) a backstabber. According to McMahon, Lesnar must “earn” his rematch. Vince says Lesnar will earn that tonight as he teams with Kurt Angle against two opponents of his (McMahon’s) choosing.

Shelton Benjamin (w/ Charlie Haas) vs. Rey Mysterio (w/ Billy Kidman)
Rather quick match with Benjamin focusing his offense on strictly wrestling moves on the mat. Haas got involved on a number of occasions, and the end came when Kidman was chasing Haas around ringside and Rey Rey hit the 619 followed by a victory roll for the pin.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Video of Jamie Noble “winning” the opportunity to sleep with Torrie at Vengeance.

Torrie arrives at the door and is greeted by Noble only wearing undies and a cowboy hat. He shows off some sex toys and Torrie excuses herself to the bathroom to be sick.

Slam of the Week: Rhyno costing Benoit (via GORE GORE GORE) the US Title at Vengeance.

Chris Benoit vs. Doink the Clown
Benoit is in the ring when his supposed opponent, Rhyno, appears on the screen and before calling Benoit a joke informs him that a warm-up is warranted before he comes down to the ring. Doink takes forever to get in the ring and Benoit finally has enough and goes after him on the outside. This is a complete ass kicking by Benoit with a headbutt followed by the Crossface for the win. After the bell, Rhyno says he isn't coming to the ring and calls Benoit a joke as he leaves the arena.

Winner: Chris Benoit

Noble gets up to answer the door and its Nidia. Nidia is wearing what youll find on page 44 of the newest Victoria’s Secret catalog. Nidia then mounts Noble on the queen size bed that Noble refers to as a king (someone please bitch-slap whomever thought that no one would notice that “size difference”). Torrie looks on in disgust as Noble and Nidia are howling at the moon in several positions (implied sex acts).

Backstage Lesnar is questing Angle about his motives in the meeting he (Angle) had with McMahon.

Tajiri vs. Eddie Guerrero (WWE US Heavyweight Championship)
Latino Heat is again arriving to ringside with a custom classic car, but the surprise this week is that Tajiri came out of the trunk and gave Eddie the green mist to the face. Guerrero attempts to get out of the match, but the ref informs Eddie that if he doesnt compete, then he will forfeit the title. Im not sure if time was cut for this match or what, but neither competitor really seemed into this match. We did get to see Tajiri’s Tarantula and Eddie display his vertical suplex prowess. Eddie eventually got the victory when he distracted the ref and mule kicked Tajiri in the groin, thus resulting in a pinfall.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero

Zach Gowen’s Confidential piece from last week was shown in its entirety (thats two weeks in a row now that a segment of SD has been shown on another program).

– Commercial –

Lugz Boot of the Night: Gowen’s moonsault on McMahon at Vengeance and the crowds ovation after the bell.

Zach Gowen vs. Shannon Moore (w/ Matt Hardy)
Moore mocked Gowen early on in this match, but both competitors put on a decent match for the three minutes it lasted. Gowen was going after Hardy on the apron and Moore was able to roll him up for the victory. After the bell, Matt Hardy beat on Gowen.

Winner: Shannon Moore

Greyhound: Photo recap of Cena/Undertaker at Vengeance.

John Cena vs. Orlando Jordan
As Cena entered the ring he did another little diddy and challenged the Dead Man to a re-match next week on SD. Tazz and Cole called Cena’s offense that “ground and pound attack.” This wasnt a 30 second ass whooping, but Jordan wasnt allowed any attempt at an offense. Cena picked up the win following an FU.

Winner: John Cena

Nidia and Jamie Noble get out of the shower and say it will now turn into a threesome. Another knock at the door and it turns out to be Billy Gunn. Noble backs up and says he hasn't laid a finger on Torrie tonight. Gunn asks Torrie if she is okay and she says a little drunk, but okay. Nidia and Noble start going at it again in the background. Gunn and Torrie look on in astonishment.

Metallica’s “St Anger” is the official theme song of SummerSlam.

Backstage, Brock Lesnar enters McMahon's office and challenges Vince to a match next week on SD. Vince says, “you are on!”

All four pairs of feet are shown at the end of the bed. All four are laughing, Torrie is handcuffed, all having just (supposedly) done the wild thing, but the pillows are still on the bed and nothing is “ruffled.”

Sable comes to the ring in her best S & M Parlor wear (god why cant we have Sadie Jordan wear something like that rather than Sable?). She (Sable) goes on to say how she is the dominant female on SD since she defeated Stephanie at Vengeance. Sable then introduces the mystery opponents for Kurt Angle & Brock Lesnar tonight. Big Show and A-Train come out as the mystery tag team.

– Commercial –

Kurt Angle & Brock Lesnar vs. A Train & Big Show
Okay angle was in the match for 90% of the time, Lesnar finally was tagged in cleaned house but then ended up on the receiving end of a boot by Show while hoisting A Train into the F5. Lesnar gets back to his feet and eventually puts Show into an F5, but as Lesnar lands Angle tags himself in and covers Show for the victory. After the bell, Lesnar looks at Angle like "what the hell just happened?" Angle tries to explain himself, but is on the receiving end of an F5.

Winner(s): Kurt Angle & Brock Lesnar

Vince McMahon comes out and says that their (Lesnar and his) match next week will be in a 15 foot high Steel Cage. [And we had learned via WV that Angle most likely will be the ref for the match.]
