The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the accident involving TNA crew member Kevin Sinex took place around 11:20 p.m. Eastern, just 25 minutes or so after the Slammiversary PPV ended. Almost all the crew had left except for around five wrestlers and they all heard a loud crash in the arena. When approaching the scene, it was said to have looked terrible with a lot of blood everywhere and people attempting to revive Sinex through CPR and shocking. Sinex was later pronounced dead that night when taken to a local hospital.
According to a report by The Figure Four Weekly, a moment of silence was held with all the wrestlers before the TV tapings the next night in Orlando. Sinex was flown into Orlando to work on the set and was well known among the TNA staff, so his passing left many devastated.
