- The following match took place on WWE Sunday Night Heat prior to Judgment Day on Pay Per View:

  • Mark Jindrak w/ Theodore Long vs. Funaki

    Winner: Mark Jindrak

    - The match ended when Jindrak hit a big clothesline off the top rope followed by the Mark of Excellence to get the 1, 2, 3 for the win.

  • Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio vs. The Dudley Boyz

    Winners: Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio

    - The match ended when Mysterio gave a 619 to both Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley, allowing RVD to hit the Five Star Frog Splash soon after on D-Von for the win.

    - Backstage, Josh Mathews interviewed Booker T and asked about his match with The Undertaker tonight. Booker brought up how The Undertaker might have special powers, but he has some of his own as well holding up his bag of soil.

    - Luther rolled down a box with curtains around it down to the ring. SmackDown GM Kurt Angle was inside and spoke of the fans in L.A., calling them lazy cell phone users. He said L.A. is the home of an overrated basketball team and said the crowd tonight is full of Eddie Guerrero supporters. Angle said when JBL beats Guerrero tonight for the WWE Championship, the L.A. fans will most likely riot so he will be leaving as soon as possible. Angle then called down Torrie Wilson to the ring right away. Angle announced that if she lost her match against Dawn Marie, she is fired!

  • Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie
    (If Wilson loses, she is fired)

    Winner: Torrie Wilson

    - The match ended when Wilson got the win with a backslide on Marie for the pin.

    - Backstage, John Bradshaw Layfield did an interview saying he has seen an America full of people like Eddie Guerrero that cheat. JBL promised he would win the WWE Championship tonight for all of the American people who work hard and don't cheat.

  • Mordecai vs. Scotty 2 Hotty

    Winner: Mordecai

    - Mordecai's entrance sees him come out in a white rope holding a crucifix type symbol that you may have seen in his earlier promos. He then slams it down as pyro goes off, starting a path of flames to the ring. He bowed in the corner as Scotty looked on. The match ended when Mordecai hit a Razor's Edge Powerbomb on Scotty for the win.

    - Backstage, Jacqueline gave Chavo Guerrero Jr. a pair of bra and panties before their match tonight, saying he should learn to dress like a girl since he would be losing to one again. Chavo Sr. joked and seemed interested to see if they would fit.

    WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
  • Rico & Charlie Haas (c's) vs. Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn

    Winners & STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: Rico & Charlie Haas

    - The match ended when Holly had Haas in the position for the Alabama Slam, but Rico gave him a big superkick. Haas rolled up Holly into a sunset flip for the win, allowing Rico and Haas to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles.

    - Backstage, Paul Bearer told Booker T that any powers he thinks he has will not help him tonight. Bearer said tonight is Booker's true Judgment Day. The Undertaker then appeared rolling his eyes, muttering the famous "Rest In Peace" line.

    WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
    (Chavo will have one arm tied behind his back)

  • Jacqueline (c) vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr.

    Winner & NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Chavo Guerrero Jr.

    - The match ended when Chavo Sr. (or Chavo Classic) untied Chavo Jr.'s arms. Chavo got back into the ring, pretending his arm was still tied behind his back. Chavo Sr. distracted the referee, allowing Chavo to hit a big clothesline followed by a Gori Bomb. Chavo put his arm behind his back quickly, covering Jacqueline to get the 1, 2, 3 to become the NEW Cruiserweight Champion.

    WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
  • John Cena (c) vs. Rene Dupree

    Winner & STILL WWE U.S. Champion: John Cena

    - The match ended when Dupree attempted a leapfrog, but Cena caught him and connected with the FU. Cena got the pin and retained the WWE United States Title. After the match, Cena went into the crowd and celebrated.

    - A vignette aired hyping the debut of Kenzo Suzuki on SmackDown (formerly Hirohito).

  • The Undertaker vs. Booker T

    Winner: The Undertaker

    - The match ended when Booker T connected with the Axe Kick, but Undertaker kicked out after two. Booker charged at Undertaker only to get a boot to the face, Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver for the pin.

    WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
  • Eddie Guerrero (c) vs. John Bradshaw Layfield

    Winner by DQ: John Bradshaw Layfield
    Winner & STILL WWE Champion: Eddie Guerrero

    - The match ended when JBL left the ring and got the WWE Title and a steel chair. He threw the chair into the ring, but the referee saw it and threw it out. As this took place, JBL came into the ring with the WWE Title. Guerrero grabbed the belt away and knocked out JBL with it, causing a DQ finish. After the match, Guerrero continued to hit some hard rights and lefts on JBL. Three referees pulled Guerrero off JBL, but Guerrero broke free and knocked out JBL with the WWE Title. Guerrero then hit a big Frog Splash as JBL was busted open. JBL rolled out of the ring and Guerrero chased him down as the show came to a close.
