Chris Candido Update: Undergoes Successful Surgery + Return Timetable
On Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 1:10 AM EST Chris Candido underwent successful surgery on his leg yesterday. He had a plate and screws inserted into his leg to fix his dislocated ankle, broken tibia and broken fibula. He should be released from the hospital today, and will either go to the Impact Tapings in Orlando, or to his home in New Jersey. It is believed Candido will be out for 2-3 months, though one doctor reportedly said a return in six weeks could be possible, though probably unlikely.
