In regards to the big announcement that TNA is plugging for the Turning Point PPV this Sunday described as something that will "change the face of TNA in 2006", early reports have indicated that the news could be overblown if it is what some think it is. From what is known, it would only be something very short-term. We will have live coverage of the show this Sunday night so when the announcement is made, we'll have it up right away.

ESPN Hollywood will be doing a piece tomorrow regarding A.J. Pierzynski's appearance on TNA iMPACT! tomorrow night on Spike TV at 10pm ET/9pm CT.

XtremeFalls43 sent this in: On Around the Horn, AJ Pierzynski was talked about in the final 30 seconds of the show by Chicago Sun-Times Reporter Jay Mariotti. He pretty much sums it up as Pierzynski was stupid for getting involved in wrestling. Saying it was a big mistake for Athletes to get into Wrestling. He didn't even mention the TNA name, but did talk about the guy getting being there. It didn't seem like he actually knew what Pierzynski was going to be doing on the show, but did treat it as a joke. It wouldn't be the first time however that Jay Mariotti treated wrestling as a joke so I wouldn't take it seriously.
