Although plans are still being worked out as we speak, PWInsider.com is reporting the following list of talent scheduled to be part of the new ECW brand under WWE when it debuts next month.

Booking wise, those scheduled to oversee the project include Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer and possibly Ed Koskey of the SmackDown writing team.

Joey Styles is expected to be the sole announcer at this time. Joel Gertner will also be part of the project, but on a part-time basis. Steven DeAngelis will have lead ring announcer duties.

The following list of talent are expected at this point: Rob Van Dam, The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Al Snow, Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, Francine, Jazz, CW Anderson, Danny Doring and The FBI (Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke). Other talent that is expected to work part-time includes: Terry Funk, Masato Tanaka, Tajiri and Mikey Whipwreck. WWE.com confirmed a majority of these signings at this link today.

Although plans can always change, CM Punk (who recently captured the OVW Heavyweight Title) is expected to get a big push in the promotion. Roadkill, who is also in OVW, is expected to be used as well. Other names rumored to be used includes Kid Kash (current SmackDown wrestler), Super Crazy (current SmackDown wrestler), Justin Credible (all depends on if MTV doesn't renew his deal for the Wrestling Society X project), Lance Storm (expected to work part-time), Steven Richards (SmackDown wrestler that is hardly used), Johnny Swinger (RAW wrestler that is hardly used) and Nova/Simon Dean (SmackDown wrestler).
