PWInsider.com reports TNA management and officials held meetings yesterday for the scheduled Bound For Glory PPV on October 22 that will be taking place in Detroit, Michigan at the Compuware Sports Arena, TNA's first ever monthly PPV event outside of Universal Studios in Orlando. The plan as of right now is to announce ticket information this week. TNA wrestlers were already informed about at "Fanfest" in Michigan on October 21.

Hermie Sadler's UWF promotion will be debuting in South Carolina with their TNA licensed House Show events on the weekend of August 10-12. The official dates are North Charleston on August 10 and Columbia on August 11. Names scheduled for all events include AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, The James Gang, America's Most Wanted, Petey Williams, Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin, Rhino and Ron "The Truth" Killings. Jeff Jarrett will headline the August 10 show. UWF is currently in talks about headlining a huge event on September 29 in Richmond, Virginia.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting today that stories first noted by Wade Keller of The Pro Wrestling Torch in regards to a backstage incident between Samoa Joe and TNA creative team member Scott D'Amore at TNA's last set of TV tapings last Monday were quote "a bit exaggerated." The initial confrontation between Joe and D'Amore took place because of the planned finish that was set for the Joe vs. Rhino match that will air this Thursday night on Spike TV. All parties were eventually able to reach a compromise when it came to shoot TV that night. However, reports by Keller that Joe has started to feel slightly jaded are not exaggerated as this was yet another example of TNA's management and writing team being focused on other things, something Joe reportedly isn't very fond of lately.
