Taiyo Upsets Kong for W-1 title!
In a title change that not only rocked the Japanese women’s scene but pro-wrestling in general, Natsuki Taiyo defeated Amazing Kong in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday night, February 21 to become the 4th WORLD-1 Women’s champion.
Taiyo, known for her never say die attitude, ended Kong’s nine-month title reign in only 8:21. WORLD1Wrestling.com reached Amazing Kong through her My Space account and she declared that not only was she upset about the loss but embarrassed that she lost the title to someone half her size.

Amazing Kong also announced that she will be returning to the USA in April and will make her Pennsylvania debut on Sunday afternoon, April 15 at W-1's Income Tax Inva$ion. WORLD-1 Vice President Curt Lemon is also trying to secure Natsuki Taiyo’s involvement in the April event.

Raven to WORLD-1?
Curt Lemon is proud to announce that former ECW and NWA World champion Raven will make his WORLD-1 debut in late spring/early summer.

But who will this unpredictable TNA star face? It is no secret that Raven, although a favorite of the fans, is not a popular member of the locker room and it is almost for certain that both fan favorites and rulebreakers will petition to get a match.

Stay tuned to WORLD1Wrestling.com for more details.

Spitz Guarantees Victory Over Daniels
Still angry over his Kings Cup tournament final loss to Josh Daniels, The Dark Horse Greg Spitz is telling everyone that he will beat Daniels to win the vacant ZERO1-MAX United States title.

"Everyone that held that title is worthless. Its about time that some class is brought to a title that has been meaningless until March 11. And the only reason that it will be worth anything is because I will be the champion." Spitz said. And then Spitz, ever the "locker room leader" proceeded to give his opinion of the former champions "Corino-a never was, Predator-Bruiser Brody is rolling over in his grave, Ogawa-won a silver in a fake sport, not a real athlete, Sato-rice eater, Spanky-never heard of him. I bet he is retired now. Shelley-woman and Christopher Daniels-older then Jesus."

WORLD-1 would like to apologize to all the former champions for Greg Spitz’s unprofessionalism.
