WWE releasing its fourth quarter numbers today have revealed a detailed look at Pay Per View buyrates for the company's last few events. Here is a rundown for events in October, November and December in 2008.

No Mercy 2008 on October 5 drew 261,000 buys featuring Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels in a Ladder match for the World Heavyweight Title and Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title. In comparison, the show in 2007 drew 271,000 buys and in 2006 the show drew 197,000 buys.

Cyber Sunday 2008 on October 26 drew 153,000 buys featuring Chris Jericho vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Title with Steve Austin as special guest referee and Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title. In comparison, the show in 2007 drew 194,000 buys and in 2006 the show drew 228,000 buys.

Survivor Series 2008 on November 23 drew 319,000 buys featuring Chris Jericho vs. John Cena for the World Heavyweight Title and Triple H vs. Edge vs. Vladimir Kozlov for the WWE Title. In comparison, the show in 2007 drew 341,000 buys and in 2006 the show did 383,000 buys.

Armageddon 2008 on December 14 drew 193,000 buys featuring John Cena vs. Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Title and Edge vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title. In comparison, the show in 2007 did 237,000 buys and in 2006 the show did 239,000 buys.

This was obviously not the greatest news for WWE as all four PPV events saw a decrease in buys from the show in the prior year in 2007.
