Note: Hunter Golden had to take the night off and will return next week.

- The WWE promo hits.

- A video package airs highlighting William Regal's "King of the Ring" coronation last week that Mr. Kennedy interrupted and then cutting off Raw during the WWE Championship match between Triple H and Randy Orton.

- We then go live to Toronto where Vince McMahon is standing at the top of the stage. McMahon said last week on Monday Night Raw General Manager William Regal did something no other man has done before - he pulled the plug during the middle of a WWE Championship match. He talked about fans calling WWE Headquarters and wanting him to show up and respond to Regal's actions. McMahon called Regal's actions innovative and daring. He said Regal reminds him a lot of...me. McMahon said he is here tonight to 100% endorse and support General Manager William Regal. He thanks the fans for their time.

- The bell rings and Lilian Garcia introduces General Manager William Regal. Regal takes the mic and said the fans may not like him, but they will respect him. He asks if they have his respect and the fans in Toronto boo. Regal says pity because like last week he is ready to turn the lights out at his own discretion. The fans start a "REGAL SUCKS" chant. Regal says so be it and has them turn off the lights. The fans start booing and continue the chant. Regal has the lights turned on again. He said this show will continue, just you may not be able to see it because he is willing to have this show in all darkness. Regal said he will not tolerate being disrespected any longer.

Mr. Kennedy's music hits and he gets a big pop. Kennedy gets in Regal's face. Kennedy said if he wants respect so much, then all he has to do is take him up on his offer and go one-on-one in this very ring tonight. Regal said Kennedy doesn't get it. He said it is shame when people don't know their place in life. Regal calls himself his superior. Kennedy said prove it. Regal said he fully intends to because tonight Kennedy is in the main event facing the ECW Champion Kane...and the WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz...and "Mr. Money in the Bank" CM Punk...and former ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero and his bodyguard Bam Neely. Regal says infact, Kennedy will be facing the entire ECW Roster on his own. He said he worked out this arrangement with GM Armando Estrada. Regal said he will no longer tolerate being disrespected by Kennedy or anyone.

Triple H's music hits and he gets a big reaction. Triple H gets on the mic and says please pardon the interruption. He said unlike young Mr. Kennedy Kennedy, he means no disrespect and wanted to come out and congratulate Regal on his new position in power. He then offers Regal some friendly advice. Triple H says if he wants to stay in that position of power he needs to not make mistakes. He said for example last week when he turned the lights out on his match. Triple H said that was a mistake. He said when it was off the air, he ended his match and that was a mistake. Triple H said he disrespected him last week and that was a mistake. He said trust me William Regal, if you would like to maintain your position and keep your power, you do not want to go to war with me. Regal says war with you? He said he would never want to do that. Regal brings up Triple H's championship match against Randy Orton at Judgment Day in a Steel Cage. He said he may not make it to that match in two weeks because it will now be Triple H & Mr. Kennedy taking on the entire ECW Roster. Regal's music hits and he walks away as Triple H and Kennedy stare him down. Lawler said if he did his math right, there is 14 superstars on the ECW roster so it will be 2 vs. 14 tonight.
