Due to unforseen family issues, I am unable to provide a full detailed report of tonight's Smackdown. Here is the results of the card, and some thoughts that I hope to discuss with you in the forum.

* Rey Mysterio defeated Akio.
* Matt Morgan defeated Shannon Moore.
* A - Train defeated Bradshaw.
* Chris Benoit defeated Nathan Jones. (Jones had Lesnar in his corner).
* Tajiri defeated Jamie Noble.
* The World's Greatest Tag Team defeated Los Guerreros.
* John Cena defeated The Big Show in a non-title affair.

Thoughts and opinions

My initial thought to ponder is this. Is Bradshaw as sick of fighting A Train as we are of seeing it? How many more times will they force us to suffer through another one of those matches?

The scene backstage with the Bashams was just plain disturbing. There really isn't any other way to describe it.

Brock Lesnar is a p**sy. I cannot believe that the WWE has portrayed his character as some primadonna who doesn't take setbacks well at all, he turns them into issues for weeks and weeks and weeks on end. It's pathetic. No wonder Goldberg talked down to Lesnar like he did last sunday night, the way Lesnar conducts himself, he doesn't deserve to be on the same plain as Goldberg. He could be, HE HAS THE POTENTIAL to be on the same plain if not ahead by leaps and bounds over Goldberg, but I believe in this case the WWE is strongly holding hm back.

Well, I guess it's safe to say Shannon Moore is in the WWE doghouse. Matt Hardy defects to Raw to join with Lita, even if its not in the storyline, and the WWE says thanks to Shannon Moore for following the Mattitude gimmick by giving him a match with someone almost three times his weight. Makes for some entertaning television, don't you think?

The cruiserweight division. Why hasn't Mysterio gotten more shots at taking the strap?? I know Kidman is hurt, but you can't tell me that there isn't another superstar in the back who can compete with Tajiri?? How about Ultimo Dragon getting a shot at the strap and the Japanese Buzzsaw? At the rate they are going, that belt will lose its luster, real quick.

Nidia with straight hair looks really really nice. Nuff said there.

Wait?! Wow. I haven't dissed Vince yet.. Well, let me get down to business. Vince selling injuries just doesn't work. He probably is that hurt, and who knows, could be sitting in a local hospital bed as I write this hideous column right now. If that is the case, SOMEONE RESTRAIN HIM! His spewdom this week was again reprehensible, and Sable needs to be put in a hospital bed right next door to Jonathan Coachman, Raw's most annoying superstar.

Best of luck to Kurt Angle recovering from this most recent 'setback' A speedy recovery, and please for the sake of the company,
don't retire, Kurt. PLEASE!

Can Big Show please defend the US strap?? SOMETIME SOON....

A side note, be sure to stop by Wrestleview.com at 7pm every thursday evening in the chat room to join up with the crew and our chat room leader, my boy Brian Farmer. God KNOWS what he's got planned or cooked up for us on thursday nights, but the monday nights are becoming legendary, and two legendary nights a week are an absolute must..

A special good luck wish to my best friend, who I will not name here for privacy reasons. I hope that, when the smoke clears, you'll land on your feet, laugh this whole nightmare off, and realize it's probably going to be the best thing to happen to you. Until then, I'll help you out any way I can, and to close, I got two thoughts for you. 64 ounce Snapple Bottles at 50 paces, and KIMOSABE, SUMO??????????

Ok. That is it for this week. Sorry for the mini- version. Email me with feedback at SMACKDOWN@WRESTLEVIEW.COM. Here is the forum link as well.
