This is the new face of professional wrestling, this is TNA Wrestling! Total Nonstop Action once again hit your television screen with Impact! This week's edition of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Impact! opened up with a video package of their superstars. This was followed up by Jeff Jarrett's promo from last week, and then with the footage of "Cowboy" James Storm and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels winning the tag titles.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling kicked off Impact! in a big way as The King Of The Mountain, the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett made his way to The Impact! Zone, but only to come out to a chorus of boo's. The crowd didn't like Jeff, but could his opponent defeat Jeff Jarrett and make the crowd happy? His opponent was none other than a familiar defeated Brian Gamble. Brian Gamble started laying lefts and rights onto Jeff Jarrett but Jarrett then suddenly came back with lefts and rights of his own. Jeff Jarrett then tossed Brian Gamble to the ropes, with Gamble running back, and Jarrett catching him on his way back and grappling him with his finishing manuever...The Stroke! Jeff Jarrett covered Brian Gamble with authority for the win at 7:59. Just how much longer can Jeff Jarrett keep his win streak going? Jeff Jarrett then took the microphone, sat in a chair he placed on the broadcast table, and demanded to know who his Victory Road opponent would be. He stated that he wasn't going to leave until the TNA Director Of Authority Vince Russo came out and told him his opponent. TNA Impact! went to a commercial break as Mike Tenay argued with Jarrett.

Once we came back from the commercial break - The King Of The Mountain Jeff Jarrett was still sitting there but suddenly Vince Russo came out to address Jarrett in the ring claiming he spoke to "the outsiders" and said the real talent is here in TNA. He stated that next week a tournament would start up. It will be a 4 man tournament as Raven will face "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown next week and "The Charasmatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy will face "The Monster' Abyss next week. The winner of this tournament will face Jeff Jarrett for the title at Victory Road. Jeff Jarrett then claimed he would get "outsiders" in TNA one way...or another! After Jeff Jarrett left, AJ Styles came to the ring to confront Russo about wanting a shot at X Division Champion Petey Williams, and for the belt! Russo said AJ would be part of a six way match tonight and the winner would face Williams at Victory Road with the title on the line. Team Canada minus Johnny Divine came out to demand a World Tag Team Title match having beaten the former champs Skipper and Harris but they jumped Styles and Russo instead. 3 Live Kru then made the save for AJ as we went to the tron with an AJ Styles vignette where it displayed his talent. TNA Impact! went to a commercial break.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Impact! came back to your television screens with a Raven vignette which also showed his talent and displayed just how much he wants the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Raven now finished with Sabu looks to set his eye on the World Heavyweight Champion as he takes on Monty Brown next week in the #1 Contendership Tournament. Raven was extremely focused as he came out to take on up-and-comer Mark Stephens.Raven had written "Die Monty Brown" on his chest. It looked as if Raven was pretending that Mark Stephens was Monty Brown. It was over before it started as Raven hit The Raven Effect at 8:59 for the victory!

Shane Douglas stood by a door that read "Director Of Authority". Larry Zbyszko came out, talked about Dusty Rhodes, and then walked away.

A Jeff Hardy vignette played hyping "The Charasmatic Enigma".

"The Monster" Abyss then entered The Impact! Zone looking to show Jeff Hardy what he can do. His opponent for this bout was Luther "The Bodybag" Jackson. Luther Jackson got in some offense but he fell to the Black Hole Slam. Abyss then taunted and pinned Jackson at 8:40.

Shane Douglas was still at the same place he was at with Larry Zbyszko just minutes ago. Shane had the opportunity to speak to Harley Race about the situation between Vince Russo and Dusty Rhodes. Terry Funk was not in the building.

The Naturals entered The Impact! Zone for a Non-Title bout against the NWA Tag Team Champions - "Cowboy" James Storm and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels! Just like "Professor" Mike Tenay pointed out - the Tag Team Champions came out to seperate ring entrances. You have to respect the guts of Andy Douglas here as he recieved damage to his leg in a really bad way this past weekend. But we are TNA and it is Total Nonstop Action! Early on there was miscommunication between the Tag Team Champions, but would this cost them the match? Christopher Daniels went for the Best Moonsault Ever but James Storm had already picked up Chase Stevens for a fireman's carry. Daniels hit the mat hard as he missed the BME. From the floor, Douglas tripped up Storm which allowed Stevens to cover Daniels at 6:01. After the bout - Primetime and "Wildcat" ChrisHarris joined their partners in the ring to argue.

Shane Douglas spoke to Dusty Rhodes who said there was a failure in communication between Russo and the championship committee.

Mike Tenay then went in the ring to announce a few huge announcements concerning the start of a new era for Total Nonstop Action, the first ever Sunday montly Pay-Per-View, the first ever 3 hour Pay-Per-View - Victory Road! Mike's first announcement was that there would be a Victory Road Weekend with Q & A, autograph sessions, and more. But where would it be? Would it be Nashville? Alabama? Where? Are you ready to find out? Mike Tenay revealed that Victory Road would be in, it would be in, in - Orlando, Florida! The crowd popped huge to the mention of Orlando, Florida. Mike Tenay also announced that next week, live, live here at Impact - "Rowdy" Roddy Piper will be here with an announcement concerning...Victory Road!

It's main event time, are you ready? It's Total Nonstop Action, are you sure your ready? Well, let's get straight to it! The following contest was an X Division 6 Way Free For All and it was to determine Petey Williams's opponent at Victory Road for the X Division Championship. In this bout was "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, "The Notorious K.I.D." Kid Kash, TheAmazing Red, "The Coolest" Kazarian, and "The Future" Chris Sabin. The crowd was hot from the bell to the pinfall. AJ took a beating for most of the match but tagged in Red who was also beat up by the heels. Red finally tagged out to everyone /* who tried to get the pin on each other. You noticed that it was basically the heels versus the faces in this one, as Kid Kash and Kazarian hit multiple double team manuevers. In the end as the other participants fought on the floor - "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles hit Alex Shelley with the Styles Clash at 1:26 to move onto Victory Road!

We will see you next week on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling Impact! with "The Monster" Abyss versus "The Charasmatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy, Raven versus "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper with a huge announcement concerning Victory Road! All this and...much more!
