Calgary, AB – AAA Canada presents: Next Generation Wrestling Friday February 22nd at the Victoria Pavilion on the Stampede Grounds – 1410 Olympic Way SE. Tickets on sale Friday February 8th at Ticketmaster.
On January 18th, 2013 wrestling returned to the Victoria Pavilion for the first time in over a decade. An incredible group of talent both in and out of the ring thrilled nearly 1700 fans. Recent news stories revealing issues with financial backers of the company left fans wondering what the future of wrestling in Calgary would be.
“Calgary proved that they want to support wrestling on this scale again in Calgary, and it is unfortunate that the actions of a few tarnished what so many poured their blood, sweat and tears into,” said Spencer Tapley, Vice President of Talent & Media Relations.“Moving forward we are proud to announce the formation of a consortium of positive people with a wealth of business acumen that will solidify a new beginning for not only the great fans, but all of those dedicated to bringing back a fantastic show of athleticism, action, excitement and formulating lasting memories.”
With the support the talent and fans of Calgary, “AAA CANADA” PRESENTS: NEXT GENERATION WRESTLING which will take place at the Legendary Victoria Pavilion at the Calgary Stampede Grounds on Friday, February 22, 2013. Doors open at 6:30 with a special pre-show, with the main show kicking off at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale on Friday February 8th at 10:00am at all ticketmaster locations, the Scotiabank Saddledome box office, and online at www.ticketmaster.ca.

The first NGW World Champion will be crowned in a tournament featuring three “Fatal 4-Way” matches, with 2 combatants from each bout advancing to the “Suicide 6-Way” Main Event to crown the first champion.
