ROH Final Battle Notes: Injury at PPV, AJ Styles and sellout

Notes from last night’s 12/18 ROH Final Battle PPV in Philadelphia.

* Matt Taven suffered an injury to his knee during the ROH Tag Team Championship match teaming with Michael Bennett against War Machine. According to a report, the match was cut short by five minutes due to the knee injury. No word at this time about the severity.

* AJ Styles was described as icing his neck after the PPV, but it doesn’t appear he or ROH officials had any concern about his lower back problems following the main event.

* ROH drew a sellout crowd at the 2300 Arena (aka the former ECW arena) last night. The company is holding television tapings later tonight starting at 6:00 p.m. ET.
