Independent promotions already begin setting up plans for Wrestlemania 33 weekend in Orlando next April

Over the course of the last few days, several independent promotions have begun to put their irons in the fire in regards to setting up their plans for Wrestlemania 33 weekend next April in Orlando, Florida.

The WrestleCon convention that is run by Highspots every year will be spanning two hotels in Orlando next April, with one hotel set up for the autograph signings and Q&As, and the other hotel to be set up specifically to run live events in. Independent promotions Combat Zone Wrestling, WrestlePro and Revolution Pro from the UK will be running live events on March 30 and March 31, followed by WrestleCon holding their annual Supershow on April 1, including the debut of a Women’s Supershow earlier that afternoon.

MLW Radio’s WaleMania show that is run by MLW head Court Bauer in conjuction with acclaimed recording artist, Wale, will be returning next April in Orlando in grander fashion, expanding to three events next year from their usual one event that they have done over the last couple of years. They have also announced that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who has performed his one-man shows during Wrestlemania weekend over the last few years, will be doing one-man shows next year in conjuction with the WaleMania events.

WWN will once again be running their WWNLive Experience filled with live events that weekend in Orlando, featuring their flagship promotion, EVOLVE. Also included during that weekend with WWN will be independent promotions CHIKARA, Beyond Wrestling, SHIMMER and PROGRESS Wrestling out of the UK.

ROH will be running their Supercard of Honor XI shows in Orlando that weekend, noting that more details on the events will be announced in the coming days. There has also been talk that ROH’s Women of Honor series will be running a live event over the course of that weekend as well.
