Luke Hawx def. Stevie Richards to become the new Extreme Rising Champion at an ECWA event in Newark, Delaware on Saturday. Richards and Hawx were already in town for the canceled Extreme Rising event at the ECW Arena. Referee John Finnegan brokered the deal to have the title change take place at the ECWA event according to Mike Johnson.
