Ring of Honor to visit Japan February 19th-20th
Partnership with NJPW continues to build “Best Wrestling on the Planet”

(BALTIMORE, MD) – As Ring of Honor looks across the globe to find the best wrestlers the world has to offer, New Japan Pro Wrestling is a name that continues to prevail as having world-class competition. With the spirit of honor and competition in mind, the athletes of Ring of Honor will be visiting the stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on February 19th – 20th, 2016, just one week before the 14th Anniversary PPV in Las Vegas, truly bringing fans “the best wrestling on the planet.”
ROH and NJPW have been developing a friendly rivalry that has given fans incredible, technical, and entertaining wrestling matches all over the world, including in Japan, Canada, and the United States.  This partnership is sure to continue to deliver instant classics as competitors from both houses fight for, and with, honor and respect.
When asked about what fans can expect from these shows, Joe Koff said “The relationship with New Japan is very strong and we are honored to bring our stars to Tokyo in the same way that they travel to the United States to compete. Both companies share the same vision in bringing the absolute best wrestling to fans across the world. We are very excited about this opportunity and really everything we have in store for 2016. Additionally, if you thought the Anniversary show in Las Vegas last year was special, you do not want to miss the 14th Anniversary.”
Ring of Honor also has upcoming appearances in the United Kingdom as part of a partnership with Preston City Wrestling. The Supershow of Honor kicks off November 27th; more information can be found here.
