SPOILERS: Impact taping for 3/12

The following took place on Tuesday in Orlando, FL.

TNA Impact Tapings for March 12:

– Kurt Angle cut a promo that was interrupted by Jeff Jarrett, who Angle wanted to fight. Mick Foley came out and said if Angle wanted a fight it should be with him. Foley and Angle went face-to-face before Foley backed down and left.

– Backstage, Jim Cornette told Sting that both he and Angle will pick a wrestler to represent them tonight to fight later in the show, with Sting and Angle in the wrestlers respective corner.

– TNA World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. & Matt Morgan defeated Team 3D & Abyss when Morgan pinned Abyss. After the match, Morgan brought out the bag of thumbtacks and Lauren ran out trying to stop him. Morgan looked to chokeslam both Abyss and Lauren, but Abyss was able to break it up.

– Taylor Wilde defeated Madison Rayne with Traci Brooks as referee.

– Mick Foley, who joined Mike Tenay on commentary, was attacked by the Main Event Mafia. Booker T got in Foley’s face allowing Scott Steiner to hit Foley from behind.

– LAX & Lethal Consequences defeated Booker T, Scott Steiner & The Motor City Machineguns. Hernandez pinned Sabin.

– The main event featured Kurt Angle picking one of the Main Event Mafia security guards and Sting picking Eric Young. Young won the match. After the match, Angle attacked Sting. Mick Foley rna out, but Steiner and Kevin Nash hit the ring. Jeff Jarrett then ran out and took out the bodyguards. Jarrett announced at Destination X it will be Sting vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA World Title with Jarrett as the referee and Mick Foley as the special guest ringside enforcer.
