The “TNA Impact” video game has sold around 450,000 copies so far which means Midway lost approximately $10 million on the project reports The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter. However, because of the decreased costs in development for the scheduled “TNA Impact 2” video game, that game could come close to breaking even if it sold the same number of units. Of course that is up in the air as well as Midway continues to experience financial woes. We reported yesterday that Midway got a temporary reprieve on Monday as the company cut a deal to avoid having to pay back $75 million in loans until February 19, although things still do not look good.
