New formatting change for Impact on Spike TV

TNA made a change in how they format the Impact TV show going forward. According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact has been modified to have longer segments and longer commercial breaks (eight breaks total over two hours instead of 10). They decided to drop the 30 second spots during commercial breaks, something that Spike TV wanted and had been doing with The Ultimate Fighter. The idea for the spots was to prevent people from turning the channel during breaks, but it didn’t end up helping anyway.
