More details on how tryouts work in TNA Wrestling

A new report by The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter has revealed the actual process of what it means to get a tryout match with TNA. Indy wrestler Rob Eckos, who just recently signed with TNA, took part in TNA tryouts at the last set of TV tapings along with former ROH Champion Xavier which prompted the discussion (although Eckos never spoke of the actual details of the process). The deal with TNA tryouts or anyone who works dark matches who isn’t under a deal is you fly yourself to Orlando on your own dime, work the match for free and pay any additional expenses out of pocket except for hotel which TNA picks up. In comparison, indy talent that work dark matches at WWE TV tapings or work as an extra (security or other roles) get anywhere from $200 to $300 per appearance.
