Marc Kruskol sent word regarding an interview Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald conducted with Christopher Daniels discussing his release and later return to TNA.
“It was unexpected. It was sort of a result of some plans that went awry. I knew that I was going to go back at some point. I just didn’t know when. It was just a matter of when something opened up. With so many of my friends in that locker room, I was glad to be back. I was looking forward to working with them again and getting back on Spike TV.
I feel like creative has an idea for me now. At the point when Hulk [Hogan] and Eric [Bischoff] came in, maybe some priorities changed or some ideas changed. As a result, I was in a certain spot. Then I was sort of demoted right away, but now I feel they see me in a certain light, and I think they are going to capitalize on that and run with it.
I think creative looks at different guys in different ways. It can change from one month to the next. That is what sort of happened to me. At this point, I’m going to take the opportunities I’ve been given and try to capitalize on them as best I can.”
