Bischoff comments on the big 10/20 Impact rating

Eric Bischoff via Twitter seeming to comment on the big 10/20 Impact Wrestling rating.

“Ever notice how the shows that the dirt sites put over get the lowest ratings and the ones they bury get the highest? hmmmm.”

What will make Bischoff’s comments interesting is if TNA is able to maintain that same audience next week and for weeks to come. Last year when the show hit a 1.4 rating days after Bound for Glory, it dropped to a 1.15 rating the following week and was never able to recover the rest of the year (averaging a 1.08 rating from October to December).

We had reported earlier that Dixie Carter’s statement about this week’s episode of Impact being the highest rated ever was incorrect as last year’s post-Bound for Glory show on 10/14 drew a 1.4 cable rating. However, the overall viewership for that show was 1.9 million viewers. This week’s show drew 2.019 million viewers so it is indeed the highest rating in TNA history on Spike TV.
