TNA Wrestling returns to PPV this Sunday night, August 12th, and the BFG Series goes HARDCORE with “Hardcore Justice.” This month’s PPV will feature 3 special Hardcore style BFG Series 4-Ways, the rematch between Austin Aries & Bobby Roode for the World Championship, Chavo Guerrero Jr.’s PPV debut, and both the X-Division & Knockouts Championships on the line!
Knockouts Champion Miss Tessmacher defends her belt for the first time on PPV against former 3 time Knockouts Champion “The Killer Queen” Madison Rayne. Rayne won this shot at the belt by defeating 3 other former Knockouts Champions (Mickie James, Tara, and Gail Kim) on last week’s Impact Wrestling, and her recent winning streak has been controversial in nature due to her “relationship” with referee Earl Hebner. If Hebner is wearing the stripes for this one, what does that mean for Tessmacher?
Chavo Guerrero Jr. made his debut in TNA 2 weeks ago and was interrupted by Kid Kash & Gunner who took offense to Chavo coming into TNA and calling it “his house.” As Kash & Gunner attacked the 3rd generation star fellow Mexican-American Hernandez came out and made the save. Last week, Chavo faced Kash one-on-one with Hernandez & Gunner in the wrestlers respective corners with Chavo coming out on top via his legendary uncle Eddie’s Frog Splash. Now, Hernandez & Chavo will team up for the first time to face the intense team of Kash & Gunner in Chavo’s TNA PPV debut.
2 weeks ago newly crowned X-Division Champion Zema Ion defended his belt against the controversial Kenny King, and King looked to be on the verge of taking the belt until his buddy Austin Aries’ rival Bobby Roode interfered and cost him the match. King gets a shot at redemption and another shot at the belt he feels is rightfully his.
The Bound for Glory Series is about to go hardcore, in a major way, with 3 Fatal 4-Way Matches featuring all 12 BFG Series competitors!
First off, in what could be a show stealer, 3 former World Champions hook it up with a former X-Division Champion as Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe wage war in a Ladder Match!
Then Bully Ray, James Storm, Jeff Hardy, & Robbie E will go at it in a Tables Match which should make Bully Ray & Jeff Hardy feel right at home with their history of Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Matches.
Finally, Rob Van Dam, Mr. Anderson, The Pope, & Magnus will go at it all over the Impact Wrestling Zone in a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Things are sure to get rowdy in these BFG Series bouts which will be worth 20 points each for the winners!
In the Main Event World Champion Austin Aries faces off against the man he beat at Destination X: Bobby Roode! The “IT Factor” claims Aries’ win was nothing more than a fluke and is set out to prove exactly that while “The Greatest Man In The World” is on a mission to prove that he is in his rightful place at the throne on top of TNA.
