TNA has linked a fan poll to their Twitter page asking fans if Christian York, who took part in last night’s Gut Check against Zema Ion, should be given a TNA contract. Almost 1,500 votes have already been cast and 95% say yes.
York was a tag team partner of Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury in WWE) back in the original ECW (during it’s dying days) and even tagged with Matthews on TNA’s very first event in 2003. York retired from the business briefly after his TNA appearance but returned to the ring in 2006 and has been wrestling on the independents ever since.
