TNA star James Storm suffered some type of a groin injury at the Impact Wrestling taping on 5/9 this week in Tupelo, Mississippi. The injury took place while Storm was refereeing the tag team match between Christopher Daniels and Kazarian vs. Bobby Roode and Austin Aries as he was sliding back into count a pinfall. According to a report by Mike Johnson, the belief is that Storm suffered a pulled groin.
Storm confirmed on Twitter that he was heading to the emergency room following last night’s 5/10 live event in Birmingham, Alabama.
Thank you Birmingham. Driving to the ER now To get the injury from last night checked out further. #pain
