Former Ring of Honor World Champion Nigel McGuinness is backstage at today’s TNA Impact TV tapings in Orlando, FL and it appears he has agreed to a deal with TNA despite agreeing in principle to a deal with WWE not long ago reports Prowrestling.net. Were told WWE “dragged its feet” in signing McGuiness and that it is possible Bryan Danielson, another former ROH star who recently agreed in principle to a deal with WWE, could be heading to TNA as well. Of course, nothing is confirmed on the Danielson side of things. McGuinness is scheduled at this point to debut for TNA at tonight or tomorrow night’s taping.
Update: Prowrestling.net is also reporting that McGuinness has been telling people that he opted to sign with TNA because WWE took too long to send him a deal. This allowed TNA to step in and provide an offer.
