WWE SmackDown Ratings: Viewership see’s a slight drop for first episode of 2020

WWE SmackDown Ratings for January 3, 2020

The SmackDown ratings are in for January 3, 2020.

This week’s episode which took place in Memphis, Tennessee drew an average of 2.418 million viewers according to the Fast Nationals by showbuzzdaily.com.

This is slightly down (0.5%) from last week’s show which averaged 2.439 million viewers.

SmackDown tied for fourth place for the night with a repeat episode of Ellen’s Game of Games on CBS and a new episdoe of Blue Bloods that also aired on CBS. 

Hawaii Five-O won the night with 7.986 million viewers (0.9), followed by Magnum P.I. with 7.809 milion viewers (0.8), and 20/20 averaging 3.725 million viewers (0.75).

The actual ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday. We will provide an update if there is any change to Friday’s preliminary ratings.

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 2.467 (down from 2.540 million viewers from last week) 

Hour 2: 2.369 (down from 2.337 million viewers from last week)

This week’s SmackDown, headlined by Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler averaged a 0.70 rating among adults 18-49.

This number is slightly up from the 0.65 rating the show had last week.
