WWE Talent/Staff Reportedly Test Positive For COVID-19, Live Event Postponed

WWE Superstars test positive for COVID

According to PWInsider, multiple sources, a number of WWE talent and staff have tested positive for COVID-19.

This Friday’s episode of Smackdown on FOX was taped last Friday, so that show will not feature any changes.

However, this could have an effect on the post-Christmas Holiday Tour and the Day 1 pay-per-view on New Year’s Day.

It was noted in the report that WWE has no plans at this time to cancel any live events in the United States. However, per Pat Laprade and Kevin Raphae the WWE live event that was scheduled in Laval, Quebec, Canada on December 30, has been postponed until March 6. Tickets for the new date will be honored.

Furthermore, WWE recently reinstated an indoor mask mandate for the third time at their headquarters office in Stamford, CT.

Pat Laprade and Kevin Raphael have confirmed the event is postponed.
