Cody Rhodes is set to speak on this Monday’s WWE Raw.
Rhodes, in an Instagram post on Saturday said that on this Monday’s Raw, he will speak about his future and what may be next for him.
He also went on to say his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 was not the result he hoped for and that he knows that there are many fans that were disappointed as well.
Rhodes was unsuccessful in capturing the WWE Undisputed Universal Title in the main event of WrestleMania 39 Night Two. Rhodes was pinned by Reigns after interference by Solo Sikoa, who entered the ring while the referee was distracted by Paul Heyman. Sikoa nailed Rhodes with the Samoan Spike, which then allowed Reigns to hit Rhodes with a spear to get the win to retain.
On this past Monday’s Raw, Rhodes and Brock Lesnar were set to take on Reigns and Sikoa in a main event match, which had been made at the beginning of the show. However, before the match even started, Lesnar turned on Rhodes. Lesnar then fave Rhodes a beatdown that lasted for ten minutes.
