According to F4WOnline, the issues between CM Punk and AEW are believed to have been settled and the Collision Saturday debut episode for the United Center in Chicago, will be announced on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
It was also stated that the relationship between Punk and AEW “appears to have been somewhat repaired.”
F4WOnline also indicated this was first reported by Fightful Select and PWTorch.
The report further notes it is unknown how AEW will announce Punk’s return. It is speculated that it will either be directly or similar to how he was announced for his promotional debut for the August 2021 Rampage from the United Center. He was never directly announced as appearing. However, AEW leaned into the rumors that he was.
