A video of The Rock singing on SmackDown, insulting Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins airs.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Cody’s music hits and out comes Cody Rhodes to the ring. He says at WrestleMania, he will challenge for the WWE Undisputed Championship against the greatest Champion in all of sports, the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. Cody says on Friday, he and Roman will have a conversation but there are complications, factors, elements, combustable elements. Namly The Rock.

Cody says that The Rock took to Instagram and followed it with a Rock concert last week. He says something he took from his Instagram post, The Rock referred to himself as “our favorite heel”. That means he is the bad guy. He has known some heels. Bobby HEenan, Arn Anderson, the Nature Boy Ric Flair was a heel. He says he doesn’t think The Rock is a heel, he thinks he’s an asshole. And he doesn’t want The Rock or the 7 Bucks Team to get angry. The Rock told him not to cry but The Rock has been crying behind the scenes this whole time. Once they started chanting something else, The Rock went and cried to his friends at the TKO Board, telling them that WWE needed saving. A great PR for The Rock until it wasn’t.

He says the guys at TKO told him yes and the reason why is because they are yes people, they don’t tell him like it is but he will. He says The Rock is a lot of wonderful things. The Brahma Bull, the Great One. He is the only person he will get in the ring with and say he is a Mount Rushmore wrestler. But he is a whiny bitch. He says no one is bigger than the business. He brought up his mother but Cody knows The Rock’s mom.

Cody says The Rock’s mom is a wonderful lady, he has nothing but respect for her. The Rock was talking about whipping him and handing it to his mother. And normally, she would tremble in front of someone like The Rock but she is not scared of him. This is the same lady that beat up an undercover cop at a Willie Nelson concert.

He says Seth helps carry The Rock’s company. He talks about the tag team match at WrestleMania and says he doesn’t know if it will be a fair fight. He doesn’t know if he will finish the story. But what does The Rock know? How can he be so sure? The Rock has not been in the ring in years and on April 6, the bell will rings. Is he going to bring the great one or is it just going to be Little Dick Syndrome?

The Rock called himself the Final Boss. But at WrestleMania, he doesn’t think he will be the final Boss. He is just going to be Roman’s Side Chick.

We hear Paul Heyman saying “Ladies and gentleman” and out he comes.

He tells Cody that Cody must hate it when someone comes out and demands an apology. He says he came out a few weeks ago with friends from the NYPD and he apologizes for that. That was stupid on his behalf. Because the plan didn’t work and it was just dumb. And for that, he apologizes. Heyman starts to get in the ring and Cody tells him he didn’t ask for an apology and he knows Heyman will ask for permission to get in the ring but Heyman is a Hall of Famer, if he wants to get in the ring, to be his guest.

Heyman thanks Cody and he is fine on the ring apron. He says he carries with him a message from Roman Reigns. He can think of Heyman as someone that you cannot trust but Roman is someone of his word. This Friday on SmackDown, Roman will go face to face with Cody. Challenger and Champion. And when they go face to face, there will not be a single other member of the Bloodline inside, except for him and he is no physical threat. But Cody has Roman’s word. If Cody shows up on SmackDown, Roman Reigns will show up alone.

Cody tells Heyman that Roman shows up alone, no Bloodline, except for Heyman and that is a deal. Heyman says he forgot one little crucial point. The fans boo Heyman. Cody tells him they are booing him but he is about to rip his throat out and to get to the point. Heyman tells him if Roman shows up alone on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes must show up to SmackDown alone too. Cody walks towards Heyman and says deal. He extends his hand and they shake. Cody’s music hits and Heyman walks down the ring steps.

Nia Jax cuts a promo talking about how she will be the Last Woman Standing and take Becky’s spot at WrestleMania.

A lot of people didn’t believe a lot of things about him, the Usos didn’t believe he would be the guy to end the longest tag team title reign of all time. Gunther tells Zayn that he should listen to his new friend Chad Gable but he doesn’t believe that he can beat him. The fans cheer Zayn but they don’t believe he can beat Gunther. Gunther signs the contract and stands up. As he is leaving the ring, Zayn tells him to wait. He tells Gunther that Gunther thinks he doesn’t believe he can beat him? Drew McIntyre’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Drew is half way towards the ring and Seth’s music hits and out he comes dancing. Drew stops in his tracks and Seth walks to the ring ahead of him.

Seth is in the ring dancing and Drew slowly gets in the ring. Drew stands in the corner, Seth looks at him and the fans sing Seth’s song. Seth welcomes everyone to Monday Night Rollins. He tells Drew that he is sorry, he didn’t even see him, he was too busy soaking up the spotlight.

Drew tells Seth “here we go” and to get it out of his system. Drew tells him after WrestleMania, the spotlight is all his. Seth says he doesn’t like Drew, he thinks he’s stupid but he came out to admit one thing that Drew said which is correct. Seth says they always say the first step on the road to recovery is the hardest. He asks them to bare with him.

Seth raises his hand and says “My name is Seth “Freaking” Rollins and I’m a spotlight junkie”. The fans chant “spotlight junkie” and Drew says everything is just a joke to Seth. He tells Seth he has become a parody of himself but he doesn’t care. He tried to reason with him, he just cares about their match and the World title. The punch line is when he beats him for that title at WrestleMania. The fans chant “CM Punk” and Drew tells them Punk will be there next week, he would never show up in Raleigh. The fans boo and Drew tells Punk they are booing him.

Rollins cuts Drew off. He says this is not a joke. When he said he was a spotlight junkie, it was not a joke. He has been doing this for 20 years, just like him. And when he comes through that curtain, that is his fix and it gets better every time. When he comes down, he lays it all on the line and it gets better every single time. When the fans sing his song, that is his fix. And he wants the spotlight as bright as it can be. He tells Drew he knows he has been busy online, night one at WrestleMania, he will take the biggest star in Hollywood and his side bitch and on night two, the biggest light possible will be shinning down on them and the World Heavyweight Championship.

Drew says “all hail our saviour”. He says that is what he wants. He wants the passion, he had him all the way to the finish. He did it for 20 years, they gave their lives to this business. The title is the workhorse Championship. And he had him until he mentioned The Rock. He asks why The Rock has to be the reason they are getting the spotlight and not because of them. All he cares about is Seth makes it to WrestleMania. If Seth can’t walk, he will carry him down. He is going to get the moment he has earned.

Seth tells Drew “there it is”. Drew wants to call him a spotlight junkie but Drew wants it just as bad as he does. He’s an addict too. And he has been beginning for it for the last four years because in 2020, he won the WrestleMania main event in an empty warehouse. And they keep hearing about how that wasn’t good enough, how he deserves better or more. But when everyone came back, Drew fumbled the ball. And that is the difference between them. When the lights are the brightest, Seth shines and at WrestleMania 40, the lights will be as bright as they have ever been. And Drew is going to find out he is not as good as he thinks he is. Seth drops the microphone and leaves the ring.
